What you’ll have when you’re done

  • The Bible’s great words of praise and thanksgiving, in your own handwriting.
  • A personal book of praise, written out a day at a time.
  • Something to keep, or one day to hand down to someone you love.
The journal

A journal built to create a legacy

Waterproof, tear-resistant, friction-free, unique reclaimed stone paper.

Stone paper is literally that. It is reclaimed limestone and marble, ground down to a fine dust, mixed with resin, and rolled out as paper.

The result is the smoothest, most friction-free writing experience you could ever have. Your pen just glides across the page. It’s as light as 80 GSM paper but as heavy as 144 GSM, and every page lies flat, making it perfect for copy work.

But more importantly, stone paper is tear-resistant, waterproof, and won’t yellow or fade. It is as permanent and enduring as God’s Word.

At 144 pages, there’s room to keep going long after the 21 days: about 6 months of Bible Copy Club, one page at a time.

The copying you do in this journal will weather life the same way. Decades from now, someone you love will hold your actual handwriting in their hand and know how you spent your time and how much you love the Lord.
The oldest surviving writing was etched into limestone around 3,500 BC. Stone paper was invented in 2016. The most ancient writing surface and the most modern, and you’re copying the Living Word that transcends it all.

The ultimate Thanksgiving conversation starter

  • At some point on the 26th, someone will ask the table what they’re thankful for.
  • Whoever’s just finished this has 21 days of answers.

Give it as a gift, and they'll thank you on the 26th. (Although possibly not on day 9.)

And everyone else gets to ask:

How did it go?

Was it tough?

How has it changed your relationship with the Word?

What stuck?

Questions

Do they need to be a regular Bible reader?

Each passage comes with a short introduction, so a seasoned reader and a rusty one start in the same place.

Do they need experience copying Scripture?

No. The passage arrives by email, ready to copy. Their handwriting doesn’t need to be neat.

What will they be copying?

Selected passages of praise and thanksgiving from across Scripture, one each day for 21 days.

How much time should they allow?

Plan on 15 to 30 minutes a day.

Which translation is used?

Due to copyright requirements, we use the World English Bible. However we encourage you to use the translation you prefer. The email is a prompt, but most people open their Bible and copy from there, or use Bible Gateway or other online Bibles.

Does the journal ship straight to them?

It ships to you at a US address, so you can give it personally.

When does the challenge run?

November 1-21, 2026. Everyone follows the same dates.

Can I buy it for myself?

Yes. Order the package and register yourself for the challenge emails.

Is there an option without the journal?

Yes. A $29 email-only option opens after journal orders close on October 24. Participants use their own writing materials. Email-only enrollment closes October 31.
